The Yorkshire Property Guide has been around since June 1990. At this time, the market was dominated by the corporate estate agencies who each published their own in-house publications to complement their sizeable weekly appearances within the local press. The smaller, independent estate agencies did not have the level of stock or the advertising budgets to justify such a move, however, by joining forces alongside an independent publisher, a wide-reaching multi-agent title became viable. Our first edition covered West Yorkshire. Further editions followed; North Yorkshire (1993) & South Yorkshire (1996).

Due to the increasing pace of the market from 1998 – 2005, the decision was taken to combine all our editions into a single county-wide publication. The Yorkshire Property Guide was re-launched in early 2006 with a new, much improved, full colour throughout, stitch & trim format upon the move of our printing over to Archant Print in Norwich.

In 1992 we launched our unique ‘Run Until Sold’ advertising offer. Here, any vendor selling a property through any estate agent can purchase continuous advertising for it within The Yorkshire Property Guide for a single, small fee starting as little as £25 + VAT. This offer is also available to builders for the sale of stock plots, ends of developments and part-exchange homes and to commercial/letting (let till sold) agents. We are the only publication offering such a scheme. We will be re-launching this scheme once we get back into print.

August 2013 saw a further re-launch of The Yorkshire Property Guide with a new fresh looking front page and internal layout and page flow.

In March 2020, due to the COVID pandemic, the decision was taken to take The Yorkshire Property Guide digital only until a return to print becomes feasible. We continue to work towards this goal.

The Yorkshire Property Guide Facebook page and Twitter account remain active.
